ADVISORY

Our advisory meets daily.  My role as your advisor is to be your personal contact with the school.  I keep copies of your locker number and class schedule.  If you are having a problem with a class, a teacher or a student, my job is to be your advocate.  If you need academic assistance, I will put in for an Honor Society tutor.  The advisory is meant to serve as your “family” in school.  We will celebrate everyone’s birthday (or half birthday if yours' is during vacation).  We decorate for holidays, award advisory certificates and compete against other advisories for various contests.

Your responsibility is to get to know other members of the advisory and to help me help you.

You can talk to me at school, call me at home (703-266-8805) or email me at annehg@verizon.net or ahenry-gross@paulvi.net

We need plates, forks, napkins and drinks for advisory.

The canned food drive begins the week of November 14th.  Please begin bringing in cans.  Our advisory was assigned to bring in 2,900 cans.  Please be as generous as is possible.  I will shop for those in our advisory who would rather send in money than cans.

Thursday is double count day for cereal, peanut butter, canned fruit (not individual containers), fruit juice, tuna and canned meat

We need 500 cans by Wednesday to earn donuts and 1500 by Friday for a pizza party.
