Served as houseparent and counselor for six teenage boys, ages 14-18 providing 24 hour supervision, life skills training, supervised and trained part-time counseling staff, provided remedial education in Reading, English, History, Science and Math, provided group and individual counseling, developed and monitored budget, provided progress reports to the Montgomery County Department of Social Services.

Developed Sacramental preparation program with parent involvement. Provided sacramental preparation for adults and adult convert training.

6/1967-5/1971: Graphic artist & assistant supervisor for Graphic Arts Department, Group Headquarters Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company, Washington, D.C. (now Verizon Telephone Company). Did statistical drafting, lettering, created graphic arts materials, brochures, posters, verified work of others, trained new staff.
